    iPad Implementation in the Middle School Classroom: The Teachers' Perspectives

    Abstract
    This project explores the implementation of iPads in a middle school by surveying and interviewing teachers to examine their • Levels of Use, Stages of Concern, and the First- and Second-Order Barriers they encounter. The results are examined in a framework that adopts the Concerns Based Adoption Model (CBAM), incorporating aspects of First- and Second-Order Barriers, and First- and Second-Order Barriers and Strategies _ The intent of this study is to suggest improvements of iPad use at this school, propose 'best practices' for other schools implementing iPads into their school's technology programs, and promote further research into iPad integration in elementary classrooms.
